Dear Health and Welfare Participants:
The Open Enrollment period for the IBEW Local No. 43 and Electrical Contractors Health and Welfare Plan
is from November 1, 2022, to November 30, 2022, for coverage effective January 1, 2023. The Open
Enrollment instructions are enclosed.
Knowing Union support is especially important this year, the Trustees are please to inform you the
2023 Family and Single rates will decrease. The Family rate will be reduced by $40.00 per month to
$1,195.00 and the Single rate will be reduced by $20.00 per month to $560.00.
You are encouraged to carefully review the enrollment instructions, including those related to the Health Reimbursement
Accounts (HRA). Specifically, if you are enrolled in single coverage or opt-out of medical coverage and want your HRA
allocations to be available for qualifying expenses incurred by eligible dependents, you must provide evidence (as
indicated on the enclosed forms) that those dependents are enrolled in other employer-sponsored minimum value group health coverage.
