Brothers and Sisters:
I hope you and your families had a safe, restful and happy Labor Day!
Each year, Labor Day is also a time for reflection.
Please take a minute sometime today, to remember all the men and women of the labor movement who risked
their jobs and their lives to fight for the weekend, the 40-hour work week, secure wages and benefits
that working families deserve, that we may often take for granted today.
I look forward to greater things ahead for all of us, as a labor movement. Thank you for your hard work and dedication every day. It is deeply appreciated.
I hope you all enjoyed a well-deserved day off!
Fraternally,
Alan Marzullo
Business manager
