Important changes to your IBEW Local 43 & Electrical Contractors Annuity Fund

Your IBEW Local 43 & Electrical Contractors Annuity Fund is an important part of your long-term financial strategy. That is why the Plan’s Board of Trustees, in consultation with the Plan’s investment professionals, regularly review the overall eﬀectiveness of the investment options and fees oﬀered within the Plan. As a result of a recent review, the Trustees are announcing lower expense ratios for the Plan’s investment options as well as the replacement of one investment option effective Friday, June 28, 2024. In addition, a new administrative fee structure will be effective Monday, July 1, 2024. For additional information about these changes, detailed information was provided at the end of May via mail or email to every member with an account balance. Save the Date – 6/10/2024 - NexGen EAP – Stress Management Training

Please join us in-person on Monday, June 10th at 6pm for stress management training. The event will be held in the CNYETA – H.O.T. Building at 4566 Waterhouse Road, Clay, NY 13041 from 6 PM to 7 PM. The training is designed to help you effectively handle stress in both a personal and professional setting. For those attending in-person, no registration is required. Pension Verification Letters

IBEW Local 43 Fund Office annually updates the records of those participants who are receiving pension payments from the Plan. This is done so that we can comply with certain dictates of Federal law. A form was mailed to you on 5/14/2024 that requires a response. The form only takes a few moments to complete, and a stamped, self-addressed return envelope is enclosed for your convenience.

To ensure that we may be able to continue processing your pension payment the enclosed Pension Verification Form must be completed and returned to the I.B.E.W. Local 43 and Electrical Contractors Pension Fund Office no later than June 14, 2024. Please note the form must be signed in the presence of a notary public. A notary service is available on-site at the Funds Office for your convenience.
