Your unwavering commitment has been the cornerstone of our success, and it is with immense pride that I share the
news that our work outlook remains exceptionally positive. The future is bright, and it is all thanks to your efforts.
As we navigate through these prosperous times, I hope that you are taking the opportunity to enjoy the summer season

that you are creating wonderful memories with your families during this time of year.
As we look to the future, I am thrilled by the prospect of our ongoing collaboration. The sense of fellowship
and solidarity we have fostered within our union is truly inspiring.
Once again, thank you for your incredible contributions. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and it is the driving
force behind our thriving work environment. Enjoy the remainder of your summer, and I look forward to our paths

Kelly’s Choice – Hydration Challenge - Win a Stanley Tumbler!
In August, Kelly’s Choice is offering a nutrition-based challenge. The August challenge is centered around hydration and
water intake. Did you know 60% of your body is comprised of water and 85% of your brain! Mild dehydration of just 1-2% can
lead to fatigue, anxiety, decreased working memory and attention. For those already registered with Kelly’s Choice,
each week in August, you will receive an email with tips on how to increase your daily water intake. To enter & complete
this challenge, simply track your daily intake of water within the Water Tile on your Healthie Dashboard. All those who
complete this month-long challenge will be entered into a raffle to win a Stanley of their choosing! If you have not yet
registered for Kelly’s Choice and would like to, please call the Fund Office at 315-474-5729.
Delta Dental & EyeMed – Effective 4/1/2024
As a reminder, the IBEW Local No. 43 & Electrical Contractors Welfare Fund Trustees selected a new dental
benefit through Delta Dental, & vision benefit through EyeMed effective April 1st, 2024. These benefits are
available to all members currently enrolled in the UMR or Humana IBEW health plans.
Please ensure that your Dental and Vision providers are submitting claims for these services to Delta
Dental (dental) or EyeMed (vision). Once the claim has been processed by Delta Dental or EyeMed,
you will receive an Explanation of Benefits summarizing your patient responsibility, if any.
For the best results, in-network providers should not be billing you until after the claim has been submitted and processed.
After the claim has been processed, Delta Dental and EyeMed will share the claim results with our HRA account vendor. T
he patient responsibility on your bill should match the Explanation of Benefits. Paying the provider your patient
responsibility after the claim has been processed will reduce your need to provide substantiation to the HRA account vendor.
Please call the Fund Office at 315-474-5729 with any questions.
